Equinox Quest is a mobile game aiming to raise awareness about migration. We wanted to create an imaginary world inspired by the migration of birds, as a metaphor for human migration. The character of the game is a mystical creature in between human and bird called Equinox. It can fly, walk, jump or run. The goal of the game is to reach the green forest and build a new home. To do that our character must face various obstacles, and explore different environments, while collecting pieces of nest. We worked on the sound to create a mystical environment. And to better connect the metaphor with the game we decided to use real testimonies, related to the obstacle, that would be playing at the start of each step.
